BanyanTreats serves gourmet Honi Kukis!
In Hawaiian, “honi” means “kiss,” and “kuki” is the Hawaiian spelling of the word “cookie.”
Inspired by the tastes of Hawai’i, our Honi Kukis are soft-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside and chock-full of Hawaiian ingredients:
The signature Hawaiian Kiss Kuki is the perfect blend of pineapple, mango, coconut and macadamia nuts. It’s a favorite of many regular and return customers.
The Kona Coffee-Chocolate Chip Kuki is a combination of real Kona coffee and, once baked, velvety-sweet melted chocolate chunks.
The Honey-Papaya-Oatmeal Kuki is a marriage of sweet honey to the delicate fruit of the papaya, set adrift on a sea of oats and cinnamon.
The Pineapple-Ginger-Macadamia Nut Kuki is a mix of juicy pineapple morsels, crunchy macadamia nuts and just the right amount of ginger tossed in to make this cookie a zesty treat.
The Coconut-Chocolate Kuki takes everyone’s favorite ingredient—chocolate (and lots of it)—and infuses it with tender coconut flakes. The sprinkling of coconut flakes on top becomes lightly toasted while baking—a truly coco-nutty experience.
According to many, the only thing better than chocolate is…more chocolate! The Double Chocolate Chip Kuki is a rich, chewy, cocoa-laden cookie studded with plenty of big chocolate chunks.
Chocolate Chip-Macadamia Nut Kuki takes an old classic recipe and gives it a Hawaiian accent with a generous helping of macadamia nuts.
And—last but not least—the Classic Chocolate Chip Kuki. This tried-and-true recipe brightens the face of every child (and adult) who orders it.
When you purchase four kukis for $5.00 at our store, every additional kuki is only 1.25 each. Customers may also purchase kukis in batches of eight, packed in our beautiful lauhala baskets. So, if you’re searching for that perfect gift for the “hard-to-buy-for” member of your family, consider a batch of Honi Kukis from Maui.
We’ve been updating our website over the last few weeks to incorporate our name change from Hula Cookies to Honi Kukis. In order to keep our prices affordable, we have eliminated the tins and instead all gift packages will include our beautiful lauhala baskets (unless otherwise noted).
So the next time you want to order something truly scrumptious, think of Honi Kukis — Kissed by Maui Sunshine!
(Please forgive any confusion on our web site over the next few weeks while we make the transition from Hula Cookies to Honi Kukis.)
